An Intimate Lunar New Year Dinner

On a recent Sunday night our family and a few friends gathered at Chan's home to celebrate the Lunar New Year (and the launch of our special new capsule). Guests arrived wearing black and red (a color associated with energy and prosperity) and had a try on with our new dragon pendants we designed for the holiday. Chan cooked her famous ribs (which promptly vanished from the table) along with sauteed bok choy, crispy rice and a simple dessert of sliced oranges to follow. At the end of the dinner we traded li xi — red envelopes filled with lucky $2 bills to wish our friends good luck and a fruitful new year.
