Farmers Market With Katie

Katie Durko is a dear friend of ours not only because she’s a total boss! As founder of the SocialKat, Katie runs social media for Soho House, Cecconi's and a host of other hot LA brands. We meet at her lovely home in Mar Vista. It’s a foggy day which only adds to the lovely charm of her home office that overlooks the backyard. It’s filled with books and little personal effects that seems quintessentially Katie - feminine, strong, intelligent. Then it’s onto the farmer’s market. The sun comes out, dissipating the morning’s fog. A bounty of bright, colorful fruits and vegetables are on display. Katie picks a gorgeous bunch of sunflowers to take home and we take our time drifting from stall to stall, sampling the gifts Los Angeles has to offer. After a quick bite (tacos, of course) we’re on our way.
